Professional Practice
At RLC we commit to supporting individuals, for-profit and non-profit organisations in the pursuit of matters in the public interest where there is evidence of limited financial means. To this end we partner with Trust Law and remain a member organisation since 2014. Trust Law provides pro bono support to NGOs worldwide addressing a broad spectrum of issues including women’s rights; human trafficking and slavery; refugees rights and forced migration; LGBT rights; freedom of expression; and environmental and land rights.
RLC in particular specialises in pro bono applications for access to information under Freedom of Information Laws and for whistleblower protection support.

Legal Research
RLC is a member of the Future Law Collaborative which is meta-legal research initiative aimed at promoting legal system change for a fairer, safer, more just global society. Future Law explores the intersection of complexity theory and legal system change to build new forms of legal collaboration transnationally to address global challenges. Through the Global COVID-19 Policy Response (GCPR) Meta-Legal Research Initiative, FLC is building a platform to facilitate transnational and transdisciplinary knowledge sharing and to serve as an engagement point for lawyers, academics, policymakers, business and civil society to build a more effective preparedness plan for future global crises.
